Maertz ABS at an attractive price
Maertz is a series of filaments characterized by an extremely attractive price-performance ratio. Maertz Budget ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer) is not only characterized by its attractive price but also by its elastic properties. ABS is more durable than PLA. The material is harder and doesn't break as easily. At the same time, a heated print bed must be used when printing. Avoid drafts around the printer, otherwise distortion (warp) may occur.
Maertz economical ABS filament is manufactured under strict quality management procedures to ensure consistent filament diameter, consistent color, low moisture absorption.
ABS filament is suitable for all components that need to withstand a higher load than common PLA or Tough PLA. ABS is often used for hooks, fasteners or devices that need to withstand moderate loads. The material is also suitable for post-processing (sanding, gluing, painting). Toys such as figures or squeeze blocks are often made of ABS.
